EVERY runner MUST have a timing chip attached to their shoe.
Coaches are responsible for collecting and returing the timing chips from their
runners after the races.
A $35.00 fee will be charged for chips that are not
returned.
Ø RACES WILL START EXACTLY ON TIME, ACCORDING TO THE SCHEDULE.
Ø If you have less than 5 runners, place them in the main team races. The open races are only for teams with more than seven runners per team. Home-Schooled children can run as long as they have been training and competing with the same team all season. however, they must run in the open race category. Public/Private school runners who do not have a team should participate on the team of an adjoining school district. They are not eligible to participate in our league event.
Ø All runners run same course (Varsity and JV).
Ø Runners need to be on the starting line 5 minutes before their scheduled race. All parents and coaches will be asked to leave the starting area at this time.
Ø Coaches, encourage your families to allow extra time to get to the event. There is a one lane bridge on the way in/out of Coopers Lake.
Ø Please help keep your other runners and parents off the race course (stay between the flagged areas) during the races.
Ø Course marshals will monitor the course. Pacing of racers will not be tolerated. Only one warning will be given.
Ø A tent area with vehicle access will be open ONLY UNTIL 9:00 AM. To keep traffic flowing, no cars will be allowed to stop after that time. If you have a tent, plan to arrive before 9 am. After that time you will have to park and carry your tent in.
Ø Please be courteous and dispose of all your team’s refuse before you leave.
Ø Sorry, NO PETS ALLOWED.
Ø NO propane or charcoal burners.
Ø A concession stand will be available.

All Pre-ordered T-shirts can be picked-up at the Coaches meeting. Some T-shirts will be sold at the race.
